Magdalena Liem

Magdalena has been providing clinical psychotherapy and counselling to individuals, couples and families with children, adolescents and adult children.  She has worked with several organisations, including Life Care Counselling Service (4 years), Anglicare Counselling Service (8 years) and The Salvos Counselling (5 years). She has been engaged in Private Practice over the past 15 years.

Since 2006 she has also been supervising other psychotherapists, clinical counsellors, clinical supervisors, pastors/pastoral staffs and Counselling students from 5 different Counselling Institutes, and running the different type of groups of supervision till the present time. She has provided training in a Certificate of Counselling and an Advanced Diploma of Counselling course in one of RTO in Sydney and lecturing in a Masters of Counselling Degree in Supervision at one of the College/Institute in Sydney.

She has been passionate about helping people all of her life in Australia, Germany and Indonesia. She had been involved in Church and University ministries in those countries over 20 years before becoming a Counsellor and Psychotherapist. Her background of living in different countries has been enriching her in working with all types of people and her clients come from different ages, religious, cultures and background.
